Lyfebulb recently held a Cancer Supportive Care event on March 24, 2015 at popular venue, Le Colonial, in NYC. Cancer therapies have improved vastly over the past few years, but they still cause much damage to the body while they treat the actual disease. There is a big need for new therapies addressing those side effects and some of the general symptoms caused by the chronicity of the disease. At our event, we learned more about cancer supportive care therapies and how they are improving the quality of life amongst those impacted by cancer. Speakers included a thought leader within the space, Dr. Richard Gralla of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and two patients sharing their experience. A great night with many wonderful connections made.
